A man was shot outside the Russian Embassy in Zimbabwe's capital city Harare Wednesday evening, police confirmed Thursday.
National Police Spokesperson Paul Nyathi said in
a brief statement that investigations were currently underway and described the injured person as a suspect.
Confirming the shooting incident that occurred at 19:20 on Wednesday evening, Nyathi added "a 24-year-old suspect was injured and is currently admitted to a local hospital. More details will be released in due course."
He did not disclose who had shot the man.
