Ukraine's foreign trade in goods in January-October stands at 80.3 billion U.S. dollars, a significant year-on-year drop, the economy ministry said Tuesday.

In the first 10 months this year, Ukraine's exports fell by 32.3 percent to 36.9 billion dollars, while imports were down 23.9 percent to 43.4 billion dollars, the ministry said in a statement.
In October, Ukraine exported 3.8 billion dollars worth of goods, down 8.2 percent from September, while its imports in October increased by 2.6 percent from September to 4.6 billion dollars.
About 66 percent of Ukraine's export items were shipped to European Union countries last month.
