Guo Ailun had 20 points and eight assists as the Liaoning Flying Leopards easily beat the Shenzhen Aviators 115-98 on Sunday, ending Shenzhen's nine-game winning
Shenzhen had an 8-1 run at the beginning of the clash. But Zhao Jiwei pocketed eight points and six assists, to give Liaoning a 26-24 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Guo Ailun inspired a 16-2 run in the second period for Liaoning, with the Flying Leopards leading 49-35 at one point.
Shenzhen cut the deficit to five in the third quarter but never really threatened Liaoning.
Jared Sullinger led Shenzhen with 27 points and 19 rebounds and He Xining added 21.
Zhang Zhenlin added 19 points for Liaoning.
In the game against the Jiangsu Dragons, the Guangdong Southern Tigers trailed by 15 points after the first quarter but fought back with 92-82 through its solid defense, restricting Jiangsu to only 25 points in the second and third periods.
Marshon Brooks of Guangdong had 40 points and nine rebounds. On the Jiangsu side, Zhao Shuaizhou scored 22 points.
