The Liaoning Flying Leopards registered a 100-80 road victory over the Zhejiang Lions on Wednesday, forcing their semifinals into the decisive Game 5 in the
Liaoning that lagged behind 2-1 in the best-of-five series, rallied from an eight-point halftime deficit to overcome the hosts.
The decider will be played in Liaoning's home court on Friday.
Zhejiang built on their momentum from the previous game to impose their pressure immediately after the tip-off, as the defending champions only scored 11 points in the first 10 minutes.
After the half break, Liaoning stormed back with a 19-2 surge going into the third quarter, and expanded their lead in the last quarter en route to their victory.
Both Zhang Zhenlin and Kyle Fogg scored a game-high 23 points for Liaoning with Li Xiaoxu grabbing 14 rebounds. Zhejiang's Sun Minghui, Hu Jinqiu and William Cummings contributed 15 points apiece.
