Directed by Dong Runnian and featuring stellar comedic performances by Dong Chengpeng (Da Peng), Bai Ke (White-K), Zhuang Dafei, and Ouyang Fenqiang, the film narrates the story of a factory fitter mistakenly transferred to a corporate giant's headquarters during downsizing. The ensuing chaos, marked by a human resource manager's desperate attempts to hide the error to protect his status, paves the way for a satirical and hilarious exploration of office life.

At its premiere on Dec. 26, the film evoked both laughter and tears, reflecting the authenticity of its portrayal of office intrigue. The film tackles prevalent issues in modern workplaces, including bullying, promotion bribery, excessive overtime, executive conflicts, and layoffs. These themes no doubt resonate deeply with China's white-collar workforce, who often grapple with similar pressures.

Director and screenwriter Dong Runnian revealed that, during his early research, he discovered that "happiness in the workplace takes various forms, but the unfortunate experiences were surprisingly similar." Dong believes the film will resonate with many, as it mirrors their own or others' experiences, and hopes it connects with all working individuals.

Screenwriter and producer Ying Luojia added that the film aimed to help viewers release negative emotions and offer joy and healing.
