China announces top journalism awards winners

The All-China Journalists Association (ACJA) on Tuesday announced the winners of the 32nd China Journalism Award and the 17th Changjiang Taofen Award, the two most prestigious journalism prizes in the country.

A total of 376 news entries from media outlets across the nation won this year's China Journalism Award, while 20 individuals received the Changjiang Taofen Award.

The award-winning works covered topics including the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, black soil protection, and the late Chinese agronomist Yuan Longping, who was also known as the "father of hybrid rice."

The ACJA will soon host an awards ceremony to honor the winners.
