Macao's cross-border vehicle traffic rises in Nov.

Macao's cross-border vehicle traffic in November increased by 2.7 percent year on year to 384,683 trips, the special administrative region's statistical service said on Friday.

The latest report from the Statistics

and Census Service showed that the gross weight of port containerized cargo in November rose 4.1 percent year on year to 14,997 tonnes.

Arriving and departing commercial flights totaled 923 trips in November, a growth of 5.6 percent year on year, showed the report.

Licensed motor vehicles in Macao totaled 248,845 at the end of November this year, up by 0.7 percent year on year. New registration of motor vehicles in November dropped 5.9 percent year on year to 1,102.

The report showed that the number of traffic accidents in November decreased by 5.6 percent year on year to 1,014, with two persons killed and 381 people injured.
