Yi Jianlian, Guo Ailun lead CBA All-Star votes

The 2023 CBA All-Star starters were announced here on Thursday, with Guangdong veteran Yi Jianlian and Liaoning guard Guo Ailun leading the South and the North squads respectively.

Averaging 12.1 points per game this season, Yi received 649,226 votes from fans. The 35-year-old, who also led the South fans' ballot last season, will be joined by his Guangdong teammates Zhao Rui and Hu Mingxuan, as well as Zhejiang's Hu Jinqiu and Shanghai's Wang Zhelin.

In the North Conference, 30-year-old Guo topped the squad with 533,582 fan votes, with Beijing's Zeng Fanbo, Xinjiang's Abdusalam, and the Liaoning pair of Zhang Zhenlin and Zhao Jiwei rounding out the starters list.

The 2023 CBA All-Star Weekend will be held in Xiamen, Fujian province from March 24 to 26.
