"Transformers: Rise of the Beasts," the latest sequel in the Transformers franchise, continued to lead the Chinese daily box office chart on its third day of screening on Sunday, data from
the China Movie Data Information Network showed.
The sci-fi action franchise generated a revenue of around 81.71 million yuan (about 11.48 million U.S. dollars) on Sunday.
American animation "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" came in second, raking in 21.12 million yuan Sunday.
"Fast X," the latest installment in the Fast and Furious action franchise, ranked third on the box office chart with a daily earning of about 8.57 million yuan on Sunday.
